HAVEN Central Air Monitor and Controller
The HAVEN air quality Monitor detects pollutants including Particulate Matter (PM2.5), airborne chemicals (tVOCs), and relative humidity – across the whole home, from the existing central air system. The accompanying Controller can then automate the home’s equipment to respond to the issues found, such as:
1. Activating the blower fan if high particle levels are detected, to improve filtration
2. Triggering mechanical ventilation equipment or outdoor dampers if tVOCs rise above healthy levels, diluting the concentration
3. Automating humidifiers/dehumidifiers when relative humidity levels fall outside of the EPA recommended range.
Both devices are brand-agnostic, and can be integrated with existing HVAC equipment. The automations are flexible and editable, and ensure that HVAC energy usage (often the highest energy load of a home) is optimized to run equipment only when needed for the ideal balance between human health and energy efficiency.
