The Robur GAHP-A is an ultra-efficient air source gas-fired heat pump, utilizing a water-ammonia absorption cycle.

With a gas efficiency at rated conditions of 129% this unit is perfect for integrated systems boosting the plant efficiency of traditional boiler systems. Compared to condensing boiler systems the Robur units can increase the average building heating efficiencies by approximately 40%.

The GAHP-A can heat water up to 140 °F, with stable operation down to -20 °F and up to 113 °F.

The cycle of the operation is driven by thermal energy provided by a gas burner. Therefore, the required electric energy is reduced by 87% compared to electric compressor units. The GAHP-A is fed by natural gas or LPG and supplied with 208-230 V – 60 Hz Single Phase electrical power. A viable solution in limited electric applications.
