The Midea EVOX G³ Heat Pump System consists of three integrated components: an outdoor heat pump, an indoor air handling unit (AHU), and a smart thermostat. While each component can operate independently using standard 24V controls, the system reaches its full potential when connected via RS485 communication—unlocking advanced features and seamless coordination for exceptional performance.

Outdoor Heat Pump

Engineered for extreme climates, featuring Enhanced Vapor Injection (EVI), a multi-layer heat exchanger, and ICE-Circuit technology to ensure reliable, stable operation in harsh conditions. Its ultra-compact design—27% shorter than previous models—uses side-discharge airflow, helping prevent snow and ice buildup, and requires only 8 inches of rear clearance.

Indoor Air Handling Unit (AHU)

Features a groundbreaking Block-N-Lock modular design, allowing it to separate into three components—blower, coil, and filter—for easy transport and assembly in tight spaces such as attics or basements. With cabinet widths ranging from 14.5″ to 21.5″ (based on tonnage), it aligns with legacy gas furnace dimensions, enabling seamless replacements. Its auto-adaptive voltage compatibility (115V/208–230V) simplifies the installation and can eliminate the need for costly electrical upgrades.

Designed for flexibility, the AHU supports six installation configurations, including the industry’s first LowBoy layout, helping contractors reduce inventory with a single, versatile SKU. An adjustable filtration module accommodates 1″, 2″, or 4″ filters.

Smart Thermostat

Gain full system control, featuring remote access for temperature adjustments, scheduling, and automations with connected appliances.
